At about 11:30 I noticed a girl that was wobbling a bit. She bumped into me and said something that was unintelligible and then continued to walk off. I watched her for the next hour and then went and got one of the other guys to get her out. He wanted to keep her in since she was with a group and seemed fairly sober when we approached the group. Cut to 1:30. The other bouncer comes up to me and asks me to help him get her out because of something she did on the dance floor.
After 2 minutes of talking to her and her group (we were trying to be as peaceful as possible) we get her moving towards the door with the other guy clearing the way and myself making sure that she followed. When we got close to the door she got a little psycho. She started yelling "NO!" and trying to run off. I caught her by the arm while she was trying to elbow me. I put my hands under her armpits and then carried her drunks ass up over 3 stairs and all the way outside.
Her friends were mortified. They couldn't believe that their friend got so wasted that she had to be carried out of a dance club. They were very apologetic but it made me wonder...how come I never got thrown out of a club? I used to get pretty wasted at bars all the time in college but no one ever even asked me to leave. Is is a genetic thing? Some people can naturally hold their booze while others can't?
Either way that girl was carried out and we followed her to the parking lot. Apparently she doubled back after we left and went into one of the clubs upstairs where she was once again carried out by another guy. Bad night for her. I am guessing that her ribs, shoulders and arms are going to be a little sore tomorrow.
